Web design & managed hosting

Sites built with care, hosted like they matter.

I design and build custom static sites, then deploy them on their own AWS infrastructure — fast, secure, and yours to keep. You see and approve the finished design before a domain is ever registered or a penny is spent on hosting.

What I do

Three parts, one person — design, infrastructure, and the upkeep in between.

Design & build

Custom sites, no page builders

Hand-built HTML and CSS, designed around what your business actually does — not a template with your logo dropped in. Fast to load, easy to hand off.

Infrastructure

Your own AWS stack

Every site runs on its own S3 + CloudFront deployment, provisioned with Terraform — HTTPS, a global CDN, and infrastructure you own outright, not a shared platform account.

Ongoing care

Support after launch

Content changes, small fixes, and keeping an eye on things once the site is live, so it keeps working without becoming your problem to maintain.

How a project runs

Nothing is registered or paid for until you've seen — and approved — the finished design.

  1. 01

    Draft & review

I design and build the site first, then send a private preview link. No domain, no hosting, no cost yet — just the design, ready to react to.

  2. 02

    Approve

Once you're happy, we lock the design. Only then do I register the domain and provision hosting for it.

  3. 03

    Launch & support

The site goes live on its own managed infrastructure, with ongoing care available afterwards.

Who I build for

Independent businesses and individuals who want a site that's genuinely theirs.

Independent authors & small presses

Author sites and imprint pages that need to look credible to readers, editors, and publishers alike.

Local & service-based businesses

Straightforward sites that load fast, work on any phone, and make it easy to get in touch.

Personal & creative brands

Portfolios and personal sites built around the work itself, without a subscription attached to it.

Start a project

Tell me a bit about what you need — the kind of site, roughly when you'd want it live — and I'll follow up with next steps.
